Title: Duke and
Duchess of Cambridge announce they are expecting first baby
Subject: the
announcement of the pregnancy of the Duchess.
Summary
Prince William
and his wife announced they will become parents. The duchess is less than 12
weeks pregnant. The announcement came earlier than planned because of the fact
that the Duchess had to go to King Edward VII hospital with Hyperemesis Gravidarum
and they feared that her hospitalisation would fuel concerns over her health. Hyperemesis
Gravidarum is condition which causes severe vomiting during pregnancy. The
outcomes of this condition are: dehydration, weight loss and a building up
toxins in the blood and urine. The duchess will stay a couple days in the
hospital and she needs a lot of rest, the Duchess cancelled al of her
engagements this week. A lot of important people in Britain were happy in
reference to the pregnancy of the duchess, such as; the prime minister, David
Cameron, Alex Salmond (first minister of Scotland), and The Archbishop of
Canterbury (Dr Rowan Williams). If the gender of the baby is male he most
likely will become the Prince of Wales. If the baby is a girl she will be able
to succeed to the throne, regardless of whether the baby girl then has younger
brothers in the future.
My
opinion
This is great
news for de Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge. In my opinion I think it is sad
she has to start her pregnancy with this condition. You should be on a cloud
and enjoy pregnancy and lying in a hospital. They are taking good care of her,
that is a good thing. The announcement came earlier because they did not want
to imply she had a bad condition. I agree with the way they have handled the
announcement, you can not lie about something like this, it is better to say it
out lout even if you do not want to.
It is always a miracle when someone is having a baby. I hope for them both it will be healthy. I do think it is sad that the media find is so important to report these kind of things and go after it so much. Leave them be and let them enjoy their life!
