Subject: the death of Frank’s daughter

Episode: 1
This episode starts with the men in the pub
and the women at home with a glass of wine; they are all discussing the love of
Frank and his fiancé. Then someone from the army comes by the house of Frank
and tells his fiancé, his daughter is murdered in Afghanistan. Eventually his
ex wife comes by his house to be with Frank and their other two sons.
Eventually the ex wife set the whole deaf up, to be with Frank again. Eventually,
they found out that the daughter is still a live, they kicked the ex wife out
of their house. Because Frank’s daughter is still a live they have decided that
they want to celebrate her life and they went out with all the guys. His
friends put drugs in his beer and after they have been to a strip club they
left him on the cemetery. Now Frank is no where to be found…
My opinion
This series is not really my thing, but
when I think of England, I think of those houses and the grey colours of the
villages. I recognize the swearing in English from other television programs
and the accent sounds a little bit like the way they talk in Liverpool, but I
do not know that for sure. At first I did not understand if maker of the series
wanted me to laugh or everything was mend seriously. I did not find it funny,
but the weird thing is: that I still want to know what happened to Frank. It
did make me curious, so that is a good thing, and the fact that they have
already made eight seasons says it has a lot of ratings. Not really my cup of
tea, the makers of the series have still got me interested.
I haven't seen the show myself. From the summery I think I can conclude that it is not my show as well. Too much drama for me which I do not like at all. I do prefer comedy shows a lot more. I do believe there are a lot of people probably mostly woman who watch the show.
